I bought this right after my boy/girl twins turned one year old. They loved it so much they would fight over the momma duck, so I had to buy a second set! They love holding momma duck underwater to fill it up with water, then pour it on themselves and each other. They needed help opening the back of the momma duck when they were younger, but now that they are two years old, they can open it up themselves. Mommy and Daddy like the momma duck for rinsing the shampoo out of their hair. The baby ducks usually make it out of the tub after bath time because they want to keep playing with them.
I received this toy as a gift for my son and honestly I wouldn’t have bought it but my son really took to it. It was one of the first toys he would “pretend play” with, and it was fascinating to watch him play with it in the tub.
Of course, he prefers filling up the mommy duck with water and playing hide and seek with the baby ducks in the bubbles when we have a bubble bath. It is interesting to see how many different ways of playing (with what seems like such a simple toy) he come up with. I think this toy would make a great gift and I’m happy to have received it.
It would be interesting to see if in the future they add some magnets to the front and backs of the ducks so they could trail along in the bath (my son tried it after watching some baby videos, haha). I owned this alarm in my Buick car for several years. Well, I went on a long trip about 200 miles from my house. When we were ready to leave and go home, this security system wouldn’t let us in! The system kept shutting off my engine and locking the doors. We ended up having to pay for AAA to tow the car home while we rode home in a tow truck–completely embarrassing. Needless to say, we had the system uninstalled the next morning.
To top it off, the remotes are cheaply made and fall apart after just a few weeks of use–and are next to impossible to replace. Stay away!
